The anonymous letter which we call "Hebrews" is one of the most fascinating and intriguing letters in the entire New Testament, for it not only seeks to strengthen the faith of those whose faith is wavering, but it also explains - using Old Testament imagery - the greatness, the superiority, of the person of Jesus Christ as well as the greatness and finality of his work.
